Cassie Speaks out in Letter to her Fans
Bad Boy's new R&B artist has been feeling the heat lately. After two pathetic performances on national television, rumors surrounding the meaning of Me and You and a controversial interview on hot 97, Cassie has decided to post a letter to her fans on myspace, to give her side of the story. She admits her performances were horrible and states she has stage freight which she has not yet gotten over. She also sends apologies for rating top celebrities and talking about Bow Wow and Omarion during her interview with Funk Master Flex. She also denied Me and You being about oral sex.
Is this just a public relations attempt to save face or a heart felt message to the fans??? I know the media will take what you say, twist it around and use it against you, but you have to play things smart and have a public relations coach. As far as the performances, if you are a signed artist you should be past having stage freight so I can't feel sorry for her for that. At this point I think Cassie needs more than a letter, she needs a live performances to show she really can sing and has talent. At this point she needs to prove herself and can't rely on stage freight to avoid ridicule. Well I wish Cassie the best, I did not sign the petition and feel she can still redeem herself.
