Whitney Giving Bobby the Boot, Preparing New Album
Seen this coming a long time ago, even had them in the Hollywood Divorce video. It is now official, Whitney has filed for divorce, putting to an end a 14 year marriage filled with problems and drama. The marriage came as a shock to everyone in 1992. Whitney was one of the top selling artist and had a good girl image, while Bobby was known as the bad boy of New Edition. Whitney's career was never the same after the marriage, her albums weren't living up to past success and she began using drugs. I think this divorce is part of the rebirth of Whitney's career, hopefully she can get rid of Bobby, stop using drugs and return to being the great singer she once was.
